About
We didn't really make a game.
We made an excuse.
An excuse to remember — at the table, on the road, on long nights — the things we'd forgotten to ask each other. Because people don't open up until they're asked. And until they open up, they aren't really known.
We realised we'd never asked the simplest question to the people we'd been sitting across from for years.
"How did you feel today?"
"What scared you as a kid?"
"What's going through your head right now?"
Maybe it's strange that asking these takes a card. But it does...
CardWho is a reason to put the phone down on the table. But more than that — a reason to get up from it.
A card turns over.
A question is asked.
Then the conversation starts. And sometimes it doesn't end for hours.
We believe this:
A good evening starts with a good question. And a good question, asked at the right moment, can change a lot.
While we wrote every card, we asked ourselves the same thing:
"Will this question bring the people at the table a little closer?"
If the answer was yes, the question stayed.
If not, it was cut.
Every question here passed through that sieve.
There's no long company story here.
No vision statement, no founder photo, no funding round either.
Just this:
We really missed what used to happen when we put our phones down. And we know we're not the only ones who miss it.
CardWho is for you.
For everyone who sits side by side and stays quiet.
For everyone who wants to talk and doesn't know where to start.
Open the app.
Read the question.
Then wait a little.
Good conversations usually start right after that silence.
