Terms of Service

1. Parties

These terms of service form the agreement between the provider of the CardWho mobile app (iOS, Android) and the cardwho.com website (together, the "Service") and the person using the Service (you, the "User").

2. The Service

CardWho is a mobile party card game built to be played with friends. The Service includes a free core experience and may also include optional PRO content packs.

3. Age requirement

You must be at least 13 years old to use the Service. If you are between 13 and 18, you must use it with the knowledge and consent of a parent or legal guardian. Users under 13 are not allowed to use the Service.

4. Account security

If you choose to create an account, you are responsible for the confidentiality of your account information and for all activity carried out under your account. If you notice unauthorized use, notify us immediately through the contact form.

5. Acceptable use

While using the Service, you agree not to:

• Generate or transmit content that violates applicable law.
• Reverse-engineer the Service, scrape it with automated tools, or scan it for vulnerabilities.
• Infringe the rights of others (copyright, trademarks, personality rights, privacy).
• Create fake accounts or impersonate someone else.
• Abuse the Service in ways that cause excessive load.

We reserve the right to temporarily or permanently suspend accounts that violate these rules.

6. Intellectual property

All question content, category and mode designs, logos, brand name, visuals, and software components in the Service belong to CardWho or its licensors. You may use the Service for personal, non-commercial purposes; you may not copy, distribute, create derivative works from, or resell it without permission.

Icons are taken from the OpenMoji project (CC BY-SA 4.0). Third-party components are subject to their own license terms; the relevant attribution is shown on the page that uses them.

7. PRO content and payments

Payments for PRO content are processed entirely through Apple App Store or Google Play. Purchases are subject to the store's own terms and the applicable laws. For details on refunds and the right of withdrawal, you can check our Refund Policy page.

8. Service availability

We aim to keep the Service running without interruption; however, maintenance, technical faults, and third-party infrastructure issues can cause temporary outages. After launch, we will use our social media channels to share information about significant outages.

9. Limitation of liability

The Service is provided "as is". To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, CardWho is not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages. Your statutory rights as a consumer are not affected by this clause.

10. Third-party links

The Service may contain links to third-party websites or services. We do not accept responsibility for the content or privacy practices of those sites.

11. Termination

You can delete your account at any time. We also reserve the right to suspend or delete accounts that violate these terms. When an account ends, the related data is deleted or anonymized according to the retention periods in the privacy policy.

12. Changes

We may update these terms from time to time. For material changes, we notify you inside the app or by email. Continuing to use the Service after a change means you accept the updated version.

13. Governing law and jurisdiction

This agreement is governed by the laws of the Republic of Türkiye. Mandatory consumer-law provisions of your country of residence remain reserved as a consumer. Disputes are subject to the competent Consumer Arbitration Committees and Consumer Courts of Türkiye; if you are not a consumer, the courts and enforcement offices of Istanbul have jurisdiction.
